A lovely miniature silhouette on plaster of Mrs Gaye by John Miers (1756-1821). This George III fine and crisp portrait is set in a papier mache frame with pearwood rim around verre eglomise convex shaped glass. In good used condition with minor loss to the gilt and small crack in the pearwood rim, see pictures. Provenance to the back.
